Two Quick Thoughts About This Past Weekend’s DA:I Multiplayer Challenge

This weekend, which according to Dragon Age: Inquisition, lasted until Wednesday at 5 AM, the multiplayer challenge was to kill as many dragons as possible. The store gave everybody a Dragon Call, which is a tool to sound the gong to summon the dragon after a mission. Once used, the tool is destroyed, and you have to buy another one. I didn’t use mine, since I wanted to keep it for later. I did help kill one dragon, not something that was new. Most people who want to fight a dragon at the end just sound the gong. There’s no obvious way to poll the other 3 members of the crew whether to fight a dragon. It’s not like it’s harder than fighting a commander, it’s just that I don’t know of the non-verbal way to ask “Cool to summon the dragon in this one?”.

As a community reward for cumulative dragons slayed, the fine folks at BioWare gave everybody an “of the dragon” weapon. I didn’t understand why that was special, and because it has the same level as another weapon, and was salvageable, I salvaged it. I have yet to find an explanation on any of the unofficial wikis as to why it was cool to have, but maybe I’m better off not knowing what I’m missing.
